Authentication - API Documentation

To authenticate yourself making calls to our API methods available for customers, you need to obtain a Merchant Channel API Key.

💡

First you need to have an IPAY Customer account. For this you can contact our sales department.

Each customer at IPAY Solution can obtain 1 or more Merchant Channel API Key(s) from our support department.

You need to use your Merchant Channel Api Key by first calling Get Api Access Token. Before calling this method please enter your API key at the request property AUTH, at the empty Bearer token field. This will give you 3 minutes of access to our API methods by supplying this generated token from the response. You can then use the token field value for all other API methods (bearer token value).

💡

You can have more then 1 Merchant Channel, so with this probably multiple Merchant Channel API keys. Please use the correct Merchant Channel API Key so you don't accidentally create a new transaction for a different channel (shop)!
